The Tate Britain Map v2

The Tate Britain Map v2 is a collaborative effort to help create wayfinding around Tate Britain more accessible to it’s audience. With a simple yet sleek design, the map is designed to help those with an array of accessibility issues access the gallery without any extra worries, while still being visually appealing. The robust material allows those with motor-function issues to navigate the map without the worry of tearing or breaking a commonly found paper map. The coloured variants also have their own focuses, the clear map ehances interactivity throughout the Tates environment, the red aligns with the “Go Red for Dyslexia” movement while also helping to alleviate visual stress, and the blue caters to the more common colourblindness types.
